Why I keep an arcade game between every strategy session

Long strategy sessions leave my head buzzing with numbers. The fix I stumbled into is keeping one fast arcade game installed purely as a reset button between heavier playthroughs.

Something like a drift racer works because it asks for reflexes, not planning. Three minutes of tilting and tapping clears the mental cache, and I come back to the strategy game sharper instead of fried.

The key is choosing an arcade game with short rounds and no obligations. Daily login nonsense defeats the purpose. I want something I can open, enjoy, and close without guilt.

It sounds minor, but pairing a deep game with a light one changed how long I can keep playing without burning out. Give it a try the next time a campaign starts feeling like homework.
